How it works

Three steps and you're inside the headset.

Pick your videos

Open the player and choose videos from your phone. They load into a playlist that auto-plays one after another.

Choose the mode

2D cinema for normal videos, or 3D side-by-side / over-under for stereoscopic clips. Adjust the eye separation so the two images merge.

Drop it in the Cardboard

Put your phone in landscape into the headset. Move your head to look around. Tap to recenter.

Why it's different

Most VR players are paid apps, Android-only, or upload your files. This one isn't.

📱

Works on iPhone, no app

Safari doesn't support WebXR, so we render the stereo view manually with the gyroscope. Nothing to download — just open the page.

🔒

Completely private

Your videos are read locally on the device. They're never uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone. Perfect for personal footage.

🎬

2D & 3D

Watch normal videos on a huge virtual screen, or true 3D side-by-side (SBS) and over-under (OU) clips with depth.

🎚️

Fixes the "double image"

Big phones push the two images too far apart. Our separation control merges them so they're comfortable on any screen size.

FAQ

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. It runs in Safari and builds a stereoscopic (two-eye) view using your phone's gyroscope — no app and no WebXR needed. For best results, add it to your Home Screen and open it from the icon so it runs full screen.

Is it free?

Yes, the player is free to use. You only need a Google Cardboard or a similar phone VR headset.

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. Your videos are read directly on your device and never leave it. Nothing is uploaded or stored on any server.

Which formats are supported?

Regular 2D videos (shown on a giant virtual screen), and 3D stereoscopic videos in side-by-side (SBS) or over-under (OU) layouts.

I see a double image — how do I fix it?

Use the Separation control to bring the two images closer until they merge into one. On large phones you usually need to lower it a bit. The setting is saved for next time.

The video selector seems stuck on iPhone

iOS can be slow exporting videos from the Photos app. The fastest fix is to save your videos to the Files app first (Share → Save to Files), then in the player choose "Choose File" instead of "Photo Library".
